The AS0162-CA-162 is purpose-built for the AN/PRC-162 with an operating temperature range of -30°C to 50°C. The AS0005-RR-PSC-5 is purpose-built for the AN/PSC-5 (C–D) SATCOM terminal with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 70°C. Both accept 85–260 VAC and 20–33 VDC power input and include a MIL-SPEC transit case.
All PTS RTX PSDS models require no assembly and no specialized tools. An operator can have the radio docked, powered, and operational in under 5 minutes from unpack to comms. The systems adapt automatically to any available AC or DC power source without manual reconfiguration.

Yes. Both the AN/PRC-162 PSDS (AS0162-CA-162) and the AN/PSC-5 PSDS (AS0005-RR-PSC-5) ship with a MIL-SPEC transit case for protected transport and field storage. The transit case is included in the standard configuration at no additional cost.
