From unpack to comms
Built for the warfighter. Proven in the field.
PTS developed the original Power Supply Docking Station in 2000 to solve a persistent field problem: getting SINCGARS radios operational quickly in expeditionary environments without the complexity of traditional vehicle mounting systems. More than two decades later, the PSDS is used for training purposes at the U.S. Army Signal Center of Excellence and has been fielded across every Active Army Division.
The PSDS provides regulated, conditioned power to the attached radio from virtually any AC (85–260VAC) or DC (20–33 VDC) power source worldwide, automatically adapting to whatever power is available — generator, vehicle battery, shore power, or solar — with no manual reconfiguration.
Lightweight, ergonomic, and engineered for rapid setup, the PSDS enables Signal personnel to establish communications within minutes of unit arrival. No specialized tools. No lengthy installation procedure. Connect power, dock the radio, establish comms.

Frequently asked questions
The PTS SINCGARS PSDS is compatible with the RT-1523 (E/F) ASIP radio and the AM-7238B RF Power Amplifier. Both the AS0004-SR-4 and AS0004-SR-4A dock two radios and two amplifiers simultaneously. For other radio platforms, PTS offers dedicated PSDS models — see the L3Harris, CNR, and RTX product pages.
The AS0004-SR-4A accepts DC input from 20–33 VDC (compatible with standard military vehicle batteries and portable power systems) and AC input from 85–260 VAC — covering power grids worldwide. The AS0004-SR-4 is AC-only (85–260 VAC). Both models adapt automatically to available power with no reconfiguration.
The AS0004-SR-4 has NSN 6130-01-618-9824. The AS0004-SR-4A has NSN 6130-01-578-4483 in Olive Drab and NSN 6130-01-577-7393 in Tan.
The PTS SINCGARS PSDS requires no assembly and no tools. A trained operator can have the radio docked, power connected, and comms established in under 5 minutes from the time the unit is unpacked. No specialized training is required — the system is designed for immediate use by any military user.
No. The PSDS is a standalone ancillary system that enables installation of the SINCGARS radio in fixed and semi-fixed environments — including tactical and non-tactical vehicles — without permanent vehicle modification. It is designed for expeditionary use where rapid setup and teardown are required.
Yes. PTS holds GSA MAS contract 47QSWA22D008V (NAICS 334220) and DLA contract SPE7LX-26-D-0050. Military customers can also order through the DLA Tailored Logistics Support Program using MIPR/MILSTRIP processes. Direct orders are accepted via Direct Contract or Government Credit Card (GPC/IMPAC). PTS Cage Code is 06AE7.
