Built for the Field. Proven in Combat.

PTS Expeditionary Communications, Inc. has spent 30 years solving one problem: getting tactical communications operational faster, in any environment, with less complexity. Our products are in the field because they work — not because of a marketing campaign.

Our Mission

We exist to support the warfighter. Everything PTS builds — every docking station, every antenna, every kit — is designed to reduce the time between unit arrival and comms up. In forward environments, that time gap costs lives. We take that seriously.

A Track Record Built in the Field

PTS was founded in Huntsville, Alabama in 1996 — the heart of the U.S. Army's communications and intelligence enterprise. In 2000, PTS identified a persistent gap in expeditionary communications: getting tactical radios operational quickly in fixed and semi-fixed environments required too much time, too many components, and too much complexity. We built the Power Supply Docking Station to fix that.

2000

PSDS Developed for SINCGARS ASIP

PTS designs and manufactures its Power Supply Docking Station for SINCGARS ASIP radios — providing conditioned power and rapid docking in expeditionary command posts, FOBs, and garrison environments.

Used for Training — Signal Center of Excellence

The PTS PSDS is used for training purposes at the U.S. Army Signal Center of Excellence at Fort Gordon, Georgia — the Army’s institutional home for communications and signal doctrine.

Fielded Across the Force

PTS PSDS units are fielded across U.S. Army divisions, the National Guard, and Reserve Components — a deployment record built through performance, not contracts alone.

Deployed on the First Lift

PTS PSDS units deploy with airborne forces to a contingency Forward Operating Base on the first lift. Soldiers establish tactical communications within minutes of landing. No assembly. No delay. Comms up.

2017

Rapid-Response HF Delivery

A National Guard customer requests an HF PSDS system in support of a national special security event — on a compressed development timeline. PTS delivers a fully operational system in under two months. The HF network is established on schedule.

14,000+ Units Fielded

More than 14,000 PTS PSDS units are deployed worldwide across the U.S. Army, National Guard, Reserve Components, and allied partner nations.

Today

Expanding the Mission

PTS continues to expand the product line— adding L3Harris, RTX, and multi-platform PSDS variants, the E-Kit™ expeditionary communications system, and HF/VHF antenna and mast systems — all built to the same standard: field-ready, operator-simple, mission-proven.

What Sets Us Apart

Made in America

PTS PSDS and E-Kit™ systems are manufactured in North Alabama — engineered, assembled, and tested in the same region that has supported Army communications since Redstone Arsenal was established. Our supply chain is domestic. Our workforce is local.

Engineered for the Operator

Every PTS product is designed around one question: how fast can a Signal soldier get from unpack to comms? No assembly. No specialized tools. No lengthy training. The answer, consistently, is minutes.

Built on Relationships, Not Just Contracts

PTS has supported the same units, the same installations, and the same mission requirements for over two decades. We respond to the field, adapt our products to evolving requirements, and stand behind every system we deliver.

Headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama

PTS Expeditionary Communications, Inc. is headquartered at 1318-B Putman Drive in Huntsville, Alabama — minutes from Redstone Arsenal, the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, and the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T). Our manufacturing operations are located in Arab, Alabama.

Huntsville is not a coincidence. It's a strategic location in the center of the Army's communications and intelligence enterprise — and it keeps PTS close to the requirements, the programs, and the people we serve.
